Young Constructors: Charities, Events and Site Tours

Meetings, Seminars, Events & Tours
The YCC meets several times throughout the year.  Meetings are typically in the late-afternoon.  Contact Viki Gotts (313) 533-3509 Ext. 3102 or Barb Strachan (517) 371-1550 for the next meeting date and location.

The YCC also sponsors a series of seminars throughout the year which focus on those topics of interest to YCC members and others seeking to learn the latest in on-site and management skills.

Helping those in need is a focal point of the YCC.  Fundraising or other assistance is provided each year to noteworthy charitable groups such as Sweet DreamzZz, Ronald McDonald House and Toys for Tots.

Taking a tour of some of the most interesting structures under construction is a hallmark of the YCC.  Tours are educational experiences as YCC members learn about construction techniques, materials used, safety procedures followed and other insights.  Each tour is followed by a reception at a local gathering spot for food, beverages and networking.
